1st Training for Prospective ARC Crew 2008
Finally, training for prospective ARC crew 2008 had begun. Today was the first session.
This year the prospective crew is about 350 people. Because of that, we have to use 2 rooms for each session. For today’s session, the topic was about introduction of ARC, although it also discussed little bit about ITB network, and the trainer for first room was Alief Nugraha while for the second one was Muhammad Arif (known as Bom-Bom… ^_^).
Today I joined the training in second room because I had joined Alief’s training several times and I think it will be fun if I can give little bit ‘pressure’ to my junior.
Overall, Arif’s presentation was quite interesting. He could give a good introduction about ARC, about its activity, about its contribution and responsibility related to network service in ITB, about its achievement, and especially about amateur radio activity in ARC (I think I can’t say that there is activity related to amateur radio in ARC, because most of ARC crew are more interested in networking and web development). Moreover, I really like his presentation style, humorous but the presentation still can be delivered well.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take some photos from this session considering I brought my TZ3 in my bag.
PS: I think Arif should seriously think about amateur radio activity in ARC because he is the Head of Radio Frequency and Wireless Division for 2008-2009 periods.
